Woodland Escape

If you want privacy and an awesome bubbling creek, this is it. Beautiful home in the woods, very clean and inviting. The drive-in can be a bit challenging, I suggest not trying it in the dark. I'm glad I had an AWD SUV! The house had all the amenities you might need but bring a bag of ice. The sound of the creek right outside was glorious and I would stay here again. Management was very responsive to calls and helpful. Thanks for a relaxing mountain stay!

We had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for our family vacation. The kids loved the creek and its waterfalls. It was like being at home. Internet was fast and streaming movies at night was seamless and kept my little kids entertained while we enjoyed the evening. We will stay there again.

Amazing location! Spent most of the three days enjoying the view from the porch and living room. Nothing in particular stood out - it was exactly as stated which was exactly what we were looking for! Glad we chose them.

I loved the view & sounds of the creek which ran the whole side of the property! I could just sit out on the bench near the firepit for hours or sit on the rocks & watch the water cascade down. The views & sounds of the creek from inside the cabin were so calming. So very peaceful!! Highly recommend staying at this location if you're looking to get away from it all.

Beautiful, remote location! The brook running through the property provided the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing weekend. The home is roomy and the furniture is comfortable; the wrap-around deck was our favorite spot to relax. Beautiful windows and views all around. The beds were firm and didn’t work well for us. Also, the water pressure is low, as expected for a mountain property. Plenty of comfy towels & linens were provided. The drive to the property is steep but manageable. Very enjoyable & relaxing spot would stay again!

Great place to stay if you are looking for that "remote, back to nature" vibe. Can be tricky to drive to at first, but you will get comfortable with time. Water pressure was low for showers, but understandable being at the top of a mountain. The creek and the deck are why you're there! We had windows wide open all Labor Day weekend, enjoying the sounds and the fresh crisp mountain air.

What a beautiful and relaxing home! This was exactly what my husband and myself needed. Our dog loved it too. There were so many places to adventure for daily tips. Believe me, we will be coming back!

Everything was perfect for our stay at Woodland Escape. The house was immaculate. The beds were clean and comfortable. They had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The area is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here. We are planning to come back to this same place in the fall. I highly recommend this rental. 5 stars!

My fiance and I needed a getaway from our busy workaholic lifestyle in Florida. As a surprise birthday present this was beyond perfect for us! I Have been to Maggie Valley a few times before so I wanted to see if he would fall in love with the area as much as I did. Mission definitely accomplished! We have wanted to move up north for a new start believing it would be Tennessee however this trip has made us decide to plant our feet here as soon as possible. This cabin was everything we wanted with a clean and open space that feels like home sweet home. There is a perfect amount of seclusion while still being within minutes to town. Practically everything is provided, just add food/drinks and fun! Thank you for hosting us!

This house was even more beautiful than the photos! We loved it. It was hard to find, but if you follow the directions closely you’ll find it, I just wouldn’t recommend coming for the first time in the dark. The hosts were very responsive, and the added Mountain Discovery Pass was a huge perk! Great overall stay and would highly recommend it!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home! It was the perfect location for day trips to Asheville, Gatlinburg, Byson City, & Waynesville. We even saw an elk on the way up to the house. We come to the mountains every year, but this year beat them all! Your cabin is perfectly situated and accommodating. The waterfall was so relaxing, we opened the windows so we could hear it all the time. What fun we had hiking to waterfalls, tubing in Cherokee, and climbing Water Rock Knob - - we even saw the plane wreck! So many beautiful memories with family. Thank you for sharing your home!
