The cabin was super cute.
The cabin was super cute. I habitually wake up between 5 and 6 in the morning. The canopy of trees that surround the cabin keep it nice and dark and there wasn’t a morning I woke up before 7. With the porch doors open you can hear the creek below. Very peaceful and relaxing. There are restaurants within walking distance as this is in an established neighborhood. Lots of hiking close by. Best of all worlds.

It was the perfect distance from everything!
We used this as a home base for a local race (Black Mountain Monster) and it was the perfect distance from everything including grocery, restaurant, and race start. Will consider this again if in the area.

We enjoyed the neighborhood and the small cabin.
We enjoyed the neighborhood and the small cabin. More light inside the dark cabin would have been helpful. The lights on the walkway were not working either night when we left for dinner. I reported it and they responded quickly. Would stay here again. Love the neighborhood.

This was a beautiful place in a serene setting.
This was a beautiful place in a serene setting. It was private but still surrounded by others. We booked the place because of the fireplace and it did not disappoint. It was romantic and warming for our anniversary. The kitchen was small but was very useable and the space overall was very nice with a lot of natural light. We could have done without the gross animal hide chair, but otherwise cannot wait to book again for our anniversary next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Wren's Den.
We came here to attend our friends' wedding ceremony. We enjoyed our stay at Wren's Den. Ingles Store in Black Mountain is a great place to shop. We had wonderful meals at "Sake-Sushi' Japanese Restaurant, 'Louise's Kitchen' for breakfast, and also 'Blue Ridge Biscuit Company'. Asheville's Art District is very enjoyable. Have fun! Stay safe!

What an amazing place!
Oh my goodness! What an amazing place! Seated at the top of the hill with a beautiful view from the window, this newly renovated place feels so cozy and beautifully decorated. More than enough room for a family of 5. The fully equipped kitchen allowed our family to enjoy breakfast before we headed out for the day. The firepit was where we hung out after the day was over. We will definitely use this place again when we visit Asheville. Highly recommend!

The property is incredibly well-appointed and accommodating!
First of all, we have all been through it since COVID, and this was our first 'real' vacation since all of that started. The cabin is fantastic! The property is incredibly well-appointed and accommodating! Make sure you sit on the decks as much as you can. The sound of nature, and especially the creek will relax you like nothing else. The king mattress is awesome. Enjoy the fireplace if it's not too warm. The town and everyone who lives here is wonderful. We are definitely coming back!

Perfect 17th Wedding Anniversary
Wrens Den was the perfect cabin for our 17th wedding anniversary. Cheshire Village is the cutest little community with the lighted pathway to the cabins, the babbling brook and the convenience to Black Bear Tavern. Oh my goodness BLACK BEAR TAVERN was on the top of my list! We had breakfast there twice and even got to meet Santa Claus. The workers at Sake were also so friendly and really made you feel welcome.

Much Needed Mountain Getaway
A lovely cabin with everything you need for a mountain getaway! The kitchen is functional for snacks/easy meals and the rest of the cabin is roomy with very nice appliances and furnishings. The porch is a great size and is wonderful for reading or just listening to the rain or birds. The mattress and pillows could use a refresh, and be prepared to be warm if you’re visiting in the summer (the thermostat only goes down to 72). Overall, a great little cabin!

This is spring break and we are truly enjoying the area. The cabin has been perfect for us. Although I will request the owners to have coffee ready for us on the first day...OL Truly enjoyed the Japanese restaurant in the village. Chimney Rock Rock and The Biltmore Estate was fun.

Came up from Tampa FL for a stress break for wife. EASY!!! Look for cabin in mountains to see changing of the leaves and to get away and relax .. This cabin and management team made it easy comfortable and fast to secure our weekend get away. Cabin was amazing at first sight. The beautiful colorful leaves - they in themselves relaxed our minds! Went ziplining and had great time and lots of fun. Made our second trip to Biltmore but this time ate at the Stables Cafe - highly recommend lunch there. Swung by Omni Hotel for lunch at the Sunset Terrace - again highly recommend with mountain views. Sight seeing around Chimney Rock - spent last day just enjoying the cabin - already planning for next year. The housekeeper stopped by and cleared the steps of leaves. Thanks to all involved! Great stay! Housekeeping -Thanks!! We will be back !!!

"Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed the change of scenery and being able to bring our pups with us. Black Mountain and the surrounding areas are beautiful. We explored Catawba Falls, Montreat, Mt. Mitchell, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and went white water rafting with Nantahala Outdoor Center down the French Broad River! The Berliner Kindl German Restaurant has amazing authentic German food and Saki Suchi has tasty bento boxes. The village of cabins, homes and creek are so beautiful. We loved rocking on the porch and hearing the creek. Our daughter loved the loft bed! The peace and quiet is wonderful. We definitely hope to return in the future. Thank you, again, for a wonderful stay. "

"We came from S. Florida to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. The cabin and surrounding village exceeded our expectations! We hope to have our own seasonal cabin in the area one day, but until then we will return here. We found two great dinner places in Black Mountain. The Trailhead is a casual bar atmosphere with awesome fried chicken & corn pudding. The Black Mountain Bistro has nice outdoor seating on the porch or in the garden - highly recommend for a romantic dinner. Thank you for an exceptional vacation! "

"Wren's Den was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary & to take our first vacation with our favorite pup, Hunter! The cabin was perfectly located close to Asheville but far enough for peace and tranquility! We really enjoyed the attention to detail and the wonderful communication through the app. Black Mountain was a wonderful town with amazing food & the nicest people. We also enjoyed some beautiful hikes. A first for our dog as we visited from Florida. Like my husband says ""we felt like we were in a Hallmark movie."" We are so sad to go but hope to be back soon."

"We had a great time in Asheville for our 2nd anniversary - in no small part thanks to the Cheshire community. The area is clean, the shops are convenient, and we even saw a local band play on the property Sunday afternoon! We recommend eating at Blue Ridge Biscuit Company, the Stable at Biltmore (pork chop was amazing) and just taking a chance on any of the good shops in Asheville. Rusted Grape has REALLY good wine! The Black Bear Tavern & Cafe are very convenient and tasty with southern hospitality. All in all, we enjoyed our first cabin adventure and would recommend Cheshire in a heartbeat!"

"Wren's Den was our first getaway as a couple. We love the mountains. And Asheville is a perfect spot! Such a peaceful space. We hiked, cooked, rested, and will definitely be back! Thank you for such a relaxing stay. P.S. Love the little touches like labeled light switches and a fresh sponge."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were on Black Mountain to attend a concert at Pisgah Brewing. The cabin was such a quick drive to the venue. Asheville was so crowded we just stayed in Black Mountain and went to all the fine places to eat there. The cabin was so cozy, well cooled, had all the necessities and the bed was awesome! We loved it and will return!!!! We did have to leave on Sat. instead of Sun. because my husband ending up having to work Sunday back in Nashville. Hated to leave a day early but no choice. Thanks!!!"

We loved the cabin. Very clean and peaceful. Stairs are a bit much though. Love the Smoky Mountain Rail Road and Biltmore Estate!

"We came to Asheville to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. What an incredible place ! We enjoyed hiking, wandering around downtown Asheville and Black Mountain, and eating delicious food. Wren's Den was the perfect place for us to stay. We loved everything about it! We can't wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed our first visit to Asheville. It was our first anniversary trip. The weather was the pits, but we still made the best of it! Food recommendations: Que Sera - great spot for dinner in Black Mountain. Seafood was excellent!! Black Mountain Biscuit Company - amazing breakfast/lunch spot. As long as you're not on a diet. The Catawba Falls hike was nice! Quick 1 hour hike or so, but great scenery & nearby! We spent our last day at the Biltmore & it did not disappoint. House was grand! Gardens were great & beautiful. Winery was top notch! We'll be back one day! "

"We had a great long weekend we both desperately needed. We are from Morehead City, NC and both work in the construction industry, I'm pretty sure everyone knows of Hurricane Florence, well it beat us up. Both of our parents lost their homes, but we were all lucky to be safe, and then David threw us a curveball and proposed in November! So this was really the first time we've had a chance to get away and enjoy nature and the little village with our lab Maverick and relax! Thank you for having us! we're already talking about next time! "

"We enjoyed a getaway weekend to Cheshire, 8 years after spending our ""first trip as a dating couple"" here. Such a great relaxation and we walked down to the sushi restaurant for dinner - that was AMAZING!! Look forward to coming back again soon when we need to recharge our batteries."

We had a wonderful 1 year anniversary here! Such a nice cabin with a peaceful ambiance. The town and the people are very lovely as well. P.S. We brought our dog and he enjoyed it so much with us.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish! This was an excellent location for me to get into the mountains with my wife with the kind of accommodations that made it a pleasant (and possible since I'm the camper) stay. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The only item other than great: it could be free so we could go up every time I got leave from work!
