Location Details
Take a journey through the rolling hills west of Asheville to Verdant Valley. Scenic drives stretch out into the mountains in every direction from here, showcasing the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Head north for outdoor adventures including hiking the Appalachian Trail, skiing at Hatley Pointe Mountain Resort (38 miles) or Cataloochee Ski Area (40 miles), and whitewater rafting. Take a drive west and you'll reach the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in less than an hour. Area attractions such as the Biltmore Estate (31 min.) and the River Arts District (28 min.) are close enough for a day trip, and West Asheville offers nearby fine dining and entertainment. The closest big grocery store is 20 minutes away in Leicester, but there's also a market just down the road. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Leicester and is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Important Property Notes
• Please note that the neighborhood surrounding Verdant Valley has strict speed limitations. Please ensure you drive no more than 5 miles per hour on the approach to the home due to children and dogs playing. Thank you!
• This property is located in a dog-friendly community. Please do not be surprised if you see a dog or two on the approach lane. They are probably heading home!
• The private driveway to the home is steep. Make sure to keep momentum when driving up the driveway. There is also a steep exit, loose gravel private driveway behind the home. If using, please exercise caution, and drive very slowly.
• Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Noise Ordinance
Verdant Valley is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. This home is under a noise ordinance between 9:00 p.m. and 8 a.m. and has a very low noise tolerance. Please be mindful that noise travels far in the mountains.
• Travel Insurance Recommended
During the winter months, we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
