Tranquil-Nest AVL

Myself and 7 of my best friends spent a wonderful 3 nights here. From roasting marshmallows on the back porch to napping in the comfy beds during a storm to dancing like no one was watching in the living room, we had a blast!! Very clean, ample space, cozy vibes.

Had a wonderful time and Carolina Mornings was there to help out all the time when needed. Including when we couldn’t find the remote for the outside lights. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was great and handled three women cooking with ease. The outside deck/patio was the place where our family spent the most time. The gas grill got a workout out too. Our family get-together was wonderful because of the great place.

This place was great for hosting my family this weekend, to attend a graduation in the area. The house had everything we needed, and more. Please know that to get to the entrance there is a stone path that is beautiful, organic, and therefore naturally uneven. We had elderly members and I was concerned, they navigated well even with the rainy weekend. It was a joy to stay here and I highly recommend this location.

Our group loved our stay at this house! We felt comfortable — plenty of room for everyone, and the outdoor space was a treat. Loved the window in the well-stocked kitchen, too.

Our stay at Tranquil-Nest was wonderful! The house was exactly as described and was perfect for our family to spend quality time together. The large, well-stocked kitchen and beautiful, private backyard were absolute favorites! The location is not within walking distance to restaurants or attractions, so if that is what you want this is not the place for you. If you want a beautiful, large space to enjoy family time together this is the one for you!

The kitchen is amazing. So wonderful for cooking for a large family. The only things missing were trivets for the counter and could use some instructions on the dishwasher. Could use a few more measuring cups and silicone spatulas, too. Has everything else you could need.

Loved the layout of the home and the wooded surroundings. Nice fire pit in the backyard, the grill works great, comfortable deck with privacy all surrounded by beautiful woods. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware, cooking utensils, plates, pans, and everything we needed. The host was easy to work with and provided clear instructions on how to get to the property unlock the door, etc. A/C worked well, lighting was ample and clearly labeled where there were multiple switches in the room. Overall this was a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed the secluded and serene setting. The clean and remodeled house was spacious for us which was perfect when the kids woke up early and one parent wanted to sleep in. Our 3 kids (under 4) were safe throughout the house and property, which was an added bonus! Would recommend full curtains for the kid's room, but definitely didn’t take away from our stay! Appreciate the rental company too, thanks for the clear and detailed check-in/out information!

Absolutely beautiful home on stunning property. The home was large and very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked every meal. Decor was gorgeous. Spotless. Great location 20 min from Asheville. Grocery store close by. Really enjoyed our vacation.

Absolutely worth it. Plenty of space. Gorgeous backyard under mature tree canopy. Wonderful amenities. Enjoyed both the propane fire pit on the deck and the actual fire pit in the back yard. Comfy beds and very peaceful and quiet.

I had a wonderful time at Tranquil Nest with my book club pals. From the moment you walk in to this beautiful home (only ten minutes from the airport), you feel at ease and at peace. The back porch is a dream! Gorgeous and calm surroundings abound; it was difficult to leave such a relaxing porch. We did, however, leave to visit all the wonderful places Asheville and the other towns nearby have to offer. We visited rooftop bars, speakeasy bars, restaurants, arts district and went on several nature hikes, picnics and generally explored as much as possible. I couldn’t have enjoyed myself more with such wonderful friends! This was my first time in Asheville and I hope to return as I have fallen in love with the area. Tranquil Nest certainly lives up to its perfect name!

We recently spent a Sisters’ Getaway at Tranquil Nest AVL. The house was spotless and well-appointed; someone has gone ‘above and beyond’ to make it a home away from home. Whether gathered around the fire pit on the large back deck or sipping wine and noshing at the oversized island in the gourmet kitchen, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. But then when we were ready to explore the area, everything was just a few miles away - Asheville’s restaurants and arts scene, the Biltmore, the breweries, and the Blue Ridge Parkway with its hiking trails and beautiful mountain vistas. We were also pleasantly surprised with the proximity to the airport…just minutes away. What a great location! Whether you’re looking for relaxation in the mountains or nightlife in Asheville (or both), Tranquil Nest is the perfect vacation home. We can’t wait to return.

We visited Tranquil Nest to take a break after an eventful family Christmas celebration - it was truly the perfect relaxing vacation in an amazing location. The first descriptors that come to mind are: quiet, comfortable, well-appointed and well-equipped. Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the home's amenities, we also loved the way the homeowners captured the essence of NC with an amazing outdoor space and fire pit. And the cherry on top is the location ... just a short drive to visit the Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville or even to take a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

I truly cannot say enough about this gorgeous property. I stayed with my husband in March of 2021 and again with friends and my daughter in October. This beautiful home has everything you need to relax and enjoy the incredible Asheville area. The house is fantastic with great common spaces and a kitchen with every amenity. I sat in the morning with my coffee looking out the huge windows in the kitchen before taking it outside to the deck to watch birds and enjoy the expansive yard. We cooked many meals in the fully-stocked, gourmet kitchen, where nine of us easily sat around the dining table. The hosts have clearly thought of every need! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. All of this, and with a location just a few minutes' drive from downtown Asheville's restaurants, the Biltmore, and great hikes nearby. Also just minutes from the airport, which made it super-convenient for us. This was the perfect spot for our vacation and we can't wait to return!!

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Tranquil Nest for a small family reunion. What a wonderful time! Nestled among the trees and nature yet just miles from the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. Was even able to see the changing colors of the leaves. From the minute you walk into this house you feel like your home. From the gourmet kitchen to the babbling brook, I can’t think of a thing I would change. Already planning another stay.

"We had the opportunity to stay at Tranquil-Nest AVL while the owners were getting it “renter ready” in January of 2021. There are too many positives to mention them all but I will highlight our top 10. 1. Location, location, location! This house is close to everything. 2. If you are flying in or out, the airport is easily accessible via Uber. 3. The Biltmore Estate is 8 miles away. 4. Downtown Ashville is 10 miles away. 5. The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is a few miles from the house. 6. The quaint town of Hendersonville is 14 miles away 7. Brevard, another must see town, is 24 miles away. 8. You can go hiking during the day, come home to shower and be in downtown Ashville for dinner. 9. A fully loaded awesome gourmet kitchen. 10. Plenty of room inside and out. The location is really great and the house easily accessible. There is so much to do in the vicinity and the fact that you can go out for the day and easily come home and go back out for dinner is sometimes hard to find with mountain homes. We can’t wait to go back! "
