Had a lovely stay in Promise Keeper! Though it was close to others, we had privacy the whole time. The perfect place for two to get away !

The location of the cabin was definitely isolated with other cabins arounds. The owners were very accommodating and very nice. During our stay at the cabin, there was a snowstorm and the owners that lived next to us woke up earlier to shovel the driveway and make sure it’s clean before we drove down the road. They responded quickly and answered all of our questions during our stay. The best part of the stay was the hot tub. Overall, a great experience!

This cabin was the perfect size for two people. Very clean and nice. The neighbors were also very helpful if we needed anything :)

Very relaxing! This was a long weekend getaway for my husband and I and the cabin was just what we needed. The jacuzzi was a highlight of course and the overall experience was very comfortable.

"My sister and I had a lovely getaway. The location is PERFECT!! Close to everything we wanted to do, close to a grocery, but secluded enough for wildlife to scare me and my dog during late night potty breaks. Close to the App Trail if you want to hike. 20 minutes from Asheville. Lots of other great small towns nearby to explore! Downtown Mars Hill was fun. And a last minute decision to dine in Burnsville was a GREAT choice! Very relaxing and quiet and the perfect size for two people and a small dog. The hot tub was our favorite hang out. But the hammock on the screened-in porch was a close second! DO NOT SKIP THE HOT TUB!!! It was our highlight every evening!! And the screened-in porch was our morning coffee spot!"

"The Promise Keeper in Mars Hill, North Carolina was a fantastic destination for our honeymoon! Only about a 25 minute drive from Asheville, the Promise Keeper gives off the perfect cottage/cabin feel. Also, the fall foliage was stunning, and the thoughtful touches to the space, as well as the available amenities were great. If we're ever in North Carolina again, we'll be sure to be repeat customers!"

"This was my 1 year anniversary with my husband and I cannot Express enough how wonderful our experience was! The cottage was in such a beautiful location with all amenities we could have asked for. Fully stocked with all essentials for our 3 day stay and access to the private hot tub was such a bonus! We were blessed with meeting the owners of the cottage at the beginning of our stay and received lots of nature trail suggestions including those right on the property. Although the owners lived right beside the property, we felt no intrusion of privacy. The screened-in patio was such a nice touch as well. My husband and I laid on the hammock and took in the beautiful sight and noises of the nature surrounding us. We were also allowed to bring our dog as well which brought us such comfort. We will absolutely be back to stay! "

"My son (16) and I stayed at the cottage- I brought a travel cot and slept on the porch, loved every minute of it! and this gave us our separate areas while we rested from visiting family. I loved the hot tub as well (he loved the wifi)...."

"Very private and a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Any longer might be a little cramped for some people. It's small, so it's mostly good for couples. But the beautiful surroundings, the screen porch, and other amenities make it worthwhile. We loved it!"

"The porch! It's absolutely wonderful! We took a good nap on the hammock and our dog loved being able to wander between the house and the porch. (He has to check on mom and dad every two minutes. Shepherds, man.) The cottage is cozy and perfect for two people. We had a couple heavy rains, and it was wonderful to curl up under the cotton blanket and watch the downpour. If you're looking for seclusion, the gent that owns the property is fantastic about it. We absolutely loved our stay! Also, need more stars for ""meeting expectations"" - went far above what we expected!"

"I enjoyed our stay at Promise Keeper Cottage. It was exactly as advertised, a studio cabin with a huge screened in porch. We spent many hours reading in the hammock. The cottage is directly behind the owners home, but we rarely saw them. They were very respectful of our privacy. The owners were very nice people to rent from. They both made sure that everything was up to standard. I would happily rent this cabin again, and if I wanted to have a larger place to stay, with a full kitchen and a hot tub, I would rent their other property, Memory Maker, right next door. These are the kind of people you feel good about renting from."
