Mountain Vista

Great location, close to Waynesville with an easy drive on a paved road to the house. The best part of the house was having my morning coffee on the upper deck watching the sunrise.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The view was incredible! The house felt so cozy. I was very pleased with how clean the home was when we arrived down to how well the outside was kept up! Would highly recommend

This is one of the best locations we’ve stayed! The view is beautiful and the house had everything we could have possibly needed! Everything was incredibly clean, they communicated with us quickly and clearly, the instructions were detailed and precise, and the kitchen was overstocked and had every tool and pan I needed and more. The listing says starter supplies but there was plenty for our stay. This location is quiet and serene and really helps you disconnect but still has services like WiFi and cell service if necessary. 5 stars for sure, not one complaint about our stay here!

Wow! What a place! We had an awesome stay here. This place was easy to get to and felt secluded for an incredibly peaceful stay. The house itself was stocked perfectly and had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend staying here and I 100% would come back if I was ever in the area!

My 2 girlfriends and I stayed a week at Mountain Vista and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't help but star at the mountains all day. Even though we had a light rain every day, we took beautiful pictures of the sunrises and sunsets. No stars at night with the rain but we used the hot tub twice and drove downtown to Waynesville. Mountain Vista was comfortable and made us feel at home, but away in a cozy cabin.

This cabin was exactly what we needed for our mountain vacation! The cabin is so cozy and beautiful. The views are amazing. The house is well equipped with everything you can think of. The only issue we encountered was the water pressure. You can only take a shower one at a time, or use the sink, etc. Also, one of the bathroom doors doesn’t lock and the porch could use more light. Overall will recommend it.

We don’t have enough stars for this place! Our stay here was beyond amazing and we had the best time. This cabin had everything you could need and then some. We fully intend to stay here again at some point!

This cabin was fantastic and had a great view. We were wishing for a half hour of great skiing, golf, breweries, coffee, and more. My only complaint was that you couldn’t run both showers at once or else you would lose too much water pressure. But it’s a cabin in the mountains so that’s part of the fun.

The pictures online do not do the property justice, the house is super cozy and beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked. Tupperware, blender...had everything we needed. Carolina Homes was very helpful and has great customer service!

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded us. The cabin itself was a cozy haven, equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. The interior was immaculate, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner. The living room, with its large windows overlooking the mountains, provided breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find anywhere else. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor deck. It was the perfect spot for sipping our morning coffee and stargazing at night. The location of the Airbnb was ideal, as it was close to hiking trails and charming mountain towns. We explored the Blue Ridge Parkway and the host provided a helpful guide with recommendations for local activities and dining, which enhanced our experience. We can’t wait to come back!

The cabin is beautiful and very well-equipped. if the weather is less than ideal, it's perfectly fine just to stay in and enjoy the awesome views from the cabin.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. The location is wonderful, on a quiet Cove of the lake very close to the center. The view is nice. The inside is small but cozy, and the outdoor deck is enormous.

Stayed for two weeks. Very comfortable place. Well-stocked kitchen. Great view but an easy and quick drive up the mountain. Can be reached with any vehicle. Close to Waynesville but also very convenient to Sylvia and the BRP. Fast internet if you want to work. Felt like home. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot with gorgeous views. We had to extend our stay a few times and the staff was very helpful. For the price, it's an outstanding value.

Everything was very clean and they have thought about everything you might need here. The view is spectacular and the house has upscale amenities. Communications were great with the property manager. The location is great for those without a four-wheel drive vehicle. We got a great price for our stay and I would stay here again during the off-season.

We really enjoyed driving through Maggie Valley taking in all of the beautiful views. The dart board was a hit. Sitting on the deck and watching the sunsets and sunrises were so peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin! What I loved about the cabin was the porch on both levels and the split level floor plan made it perfect for our teen and adult children to have their own space downstairs. It was also easy to find since it wasn’t far from the highway. I would highly recommend this cabin!

The property was conveniently located to grab groceries and provide a peacefulness with a great mountain view. The house had everything we needed to even have a nice dinner in one evening vs eating out.

We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary in Mountain Vista. The views were perfect! The cabin was so cozy to sit in as the unexpected April snow fell. The temperatures remained pleasant and despite the weather, the roads remained safe for travel. The kitchen was well equipped and the downstairs TV and electric fireplace was the perfect spot to sit down and finish the day off with a yummy treat from one of the downtown bakeries. Waynesville, a 12 minute drive, may have become our new favorite small town. We didn’t even venture into Asheville except to see the Biltmore estate. We are already trying to plan a visit back in the fall to bring the whole family!
