Mountain Cove

This is an amazing property. The house was spotless, there was enough space for multiple families, and one of the most serene properties I have stayed at. Additionally, you are a short, 5-minute drive from downtown. This is a special place and plan to come back.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s birthday. We hosted a surprise murder mystery in the mountains. We had 16 people and all were impressed. Everybody had their own space without feeling too cramped or on top of each other. It was a beautiful space, and very peaceful. I surprised my wife and our friends with this trip, and the space itself holds a bit of shock value for how spacious and modern it is. The company that rents the space was very responsive and communicative. Check-in and check-out felt seamless. I highly recommend it.

This place was beautiful and is great for large groups. The hot tub was amazing, the living room fit tons of people, and the house is close to downtown Black Mountain.

Beautiful house with tons of room and great outdoor spaces. Close to town yet still has an "out in the woods" feel, especially in the hot tub.

We had an amazing stay with our friends! The cabin was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. We especially loved the cozy fireplace, the hot tub on the back deck, and the fully equipped kitchen. The cabin was also in a great location, just a short drive from downtown Asheville, and nestled in the woods. We enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails and visiting the local breweries. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the Asheville Classic Modern Cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable mountain getaway.

Our family of 7 adults and 5 children spent a few days more to attend a family reunion at Lake Tomahawk. This house was everything we needed and more. This house was perfect for our large group! The screen porch and hot tub are wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked. It’s private but also very convenient for going into black mountain and Asheville.

Our family of 12 stayed at this beautiful home during a trip to Black Mountain to attend a family reunion. The house is wonderful! It is privately situated in lush trees but conveniently located near both Black Mountain and Montreat. It Includes everything you need and all types of luxuries. Our family enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend to anyone. Appreciated the friendly customer service of Carolina Morning also.

Great property! The place is large enough for a bigger group, but still cozy. Screened in porch and hanging sofa was our group's favorite. Solid kitchen equipment and well-documented amenities.

Absolute great location which the host provided detailed instructions regarding prior to arrival. The cabin was spectacular and would highly recommend it to those planning on visiting Asheville and the surrounding area. Would stay at this location again.

My friends and I had a great time at my bachelorette party. The home was spacious and had plenty of room for all of us. It was very well decorated and had plenty of sitting/sleeping space for everyone. Overall, we enjoyed the property and would recommend it for a large group!

Our extended family of 14 arrived at the Mountain Cove house on a Saturday afternoon for an eight-night stay. We all had a great vacation and enjoyed touring Black Mountain and Asheville, hiking, White Water Rafting, driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, and one long and happy day at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We hope to return to North Carolina soon!

This was the perfect house for our group of six couples. The bedrooms were all great, and everyone had their own space as needed. It also had great gathering areas when we were all together. Kitchen was well stocked, and the house was in beautiful shape.

"We celebrated Thanksgiving and our 50th wedding anniversary with our family of 10 and one uninvited bear. We were able to prepare an epic Thanksgiving meal. The property was nicely appointed with plenty of room for our large extended family. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were very nicely designed and appointed - the best part of the house. We greatly enjoyed the screened in porch/deck, fire pit and hot tub. We had a very positive experience with Carolina Mornings and this property - we would recommend. 5-star cleanliness and furnishings."

This is a lovely property and perfect for adults and children. There are many comfortable bedrooms and a bunk room for the kids. The kitchen is fully stocked and the great room is a very comfortable gathering place! We loved the little town of Black Mountain and want to come again next year!

"The property was fabulous, the numerous and spacious rooms, bedrooms and layout was perfect for a decent size group (14 for us). It provided the perfect space to hang out both inside, outside, or find a hidden nook to read, relax or hang out away from the group areas. Easy and very close to downtown Asheville, about 25 min ride in, easy to get Lyft, or Cab back out to house. The beds, Wifi, TV and other amenities were all up to date and well kept. The overall process of securing, arriving, departing and follow up has been a breeze as well. We look forward to visiting again."

Great spot tucked up in the mountains. The house is perfect for cooking and grilling. We loved the hot tub in the cool evenings. Easy to get into downtown and Swannanoa.

"Pictures don't do this house justice! It has a great feel and layout to accommodate large groups. A lot of thought has been put into this property. It is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook big meals while staying there. We had seven couples there celebrating a 40th birthday, and everyone had comfortable accommodations. Black Mountain is a precious town and we really enjoyed Pisgah Brewing. We used the house as a base for some great hiking at Catawba Falls and Mt. Mitchell. The fire pit and hot tub were a great way to end the day. The sunset views from that upper patio are not to be missed!"
