This is the perfect getaway whether you are a family or looking for a friendcation. It was an easy 15-minute drive to most attractions and was easy to call an Uber as well if we did not want to drive! We loved the hot tub after a long day of exploring and the kitchen that had everything we needed! 10/10 would recommend staying here or any of Carolina Morning's properties! They made our stay amazing and hassle-free!

The house was gorgeous, very spacious and loved the interior design. I spent every morning on the porch with my coffee and enjoying the peaceful mountain sounds. Was impressed how close we were to both Asheville and Black Mountain. We are already planning our trip to come back next year!

I wanted to take my family to a lovely getaway in the quaint town of Asheville outside the Great Smoky Mountains in NC for a while. Found this charming cabin nestled so beautifully at the end of a cultesac on Mary Jane. As you drive onto the property you see It was inviting to see this quaint little house with a Red Door saying Hello Come on in! We immediately felt at home. It is very clean and spacious! As you enter there are four bedrooms up the stairs. Two and a half bath. The kitchen space is most desirable for your gourmet cook with everything you need. The record player with some 50 vinyls was such an added treat as our family loves music! My kiddos loved the outdoor swing set. We all had a blast playing cornhoe. The grounds are beautiful. Soaking in the spacious hot tub was wonderful in the peaceful night air. The cabin is located near the lovely town of Black Mountain. Lots of great restaurants and eateries. Don’t miss seeing the Biltmore hotel a short drive away. I will definitely be booking another week at this charming getaway soon! You won’t be disappointed.

Our stay at Mary Jane was nothing short of magical! This picturesque country home, nestled just east of Asheville, NC, provided the ideal setting for our family getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the tranquil surroundings and the plethora of amenities that made our vacation unforgettable. The oversized hot tub quickly became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The kids had a blast on the custom wooden playground, complete with a treehouse and swing set, while we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance by the fire pit. The spacious and beautifully landscaped yard was perfect for family fun. Inside, the home exuded a charming Asheville vibe with its eclectic decor. The vintage artwork and vinyl collection, complete with a record player, added a touch of nostalgia that we thoroughly enjoyed. Even our furry friend felt right at home, thanks to the thoughtful dog-friendly amenities including water bowls, towels, treats, and a comfortable dog bed. Mary Jane truly offers the ultimate whimsical Western North Carolina mountain getaway. We can't wait to return to this fairytale vacation home!

Stayed here with friends for a few days in Spring and had so much fun! Beautiful home and yard. Owners have gone all out to ensure visitors enjoy their stay at Mary Jane. Comfortable bed, slept great every night. Large screen tv in living room and plush sofa to relax on. Large kitchen with sitting area by patio doors, great views outside. Kitchen was equipped with everything for either a quick and easy or a gourmet meal. Casual dining room off of kitchen for family gatherings. If you like being outdoors, the large yard is another area to enjoy. Large deck with grills, outdoor furniture and hot tub. Playground for kids, rockers on front porch, bird houses and beautiful landscaping all around. Just a few minutes to Asheville or Black Mountain. We tried some of the many restaurants, all good. The Cuban sandwich at Cousins Cuban Cafe was amazing! Visiting the original Woolworths store with the lunch counter and soda fountain took me back to childhood memories. We visited some restaurants and boutiques in Black Mountain one day. Short distance to Biltmore or Cherokee and other beautiful areas of NC or the Smoky Mountains. I had a wonderful time and look forward to my next stay at Mary Jane!

I wanted to take a family vacation with my husband and two kids for the week after school ended up in the mountains to escape the Savannah heat for a bit. I found this cabin and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I was really worried because I have two toddler boys - one of them being autistic and we don’t travel much. I’m wasn’t sure how safe it would be for my boys, but they loved it and we didn’t have any problems at all. The child gates for the stairs, the safe kid bedroom and the outside play areas were perfect. After the kids went to bed hubby and I got to spend some alone time outside in the hot tub too. On our last morning there while I was sitting on the couch having I coffee I looked outside and saw a bear crossing the lawn. That just made my entire trip. I loved everything about this rental, the owners were very friendly & responsive, and I have definitely saved this listing for future bookings. 10/10 would recommend whether you have kids or just going for a fun getaway!

Me and a friend from Virginia stayed here from April 26th to May 3rd, we had a wonderful time. Very cozy setting, last house on Mary Jane Lane, a wooded area with a beautifully landscaped yard. Cabin is welcoming with covered front porch that has rocking chairs. Plenty of parking and nice lighting at night. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, had everything you needed, pots , pans, casserole dishes, serving dishes, etc. Even had a blender that we used to made some frozen drinks. We loved the large windows and sliding glass doors in the kitchen and in the dinning room. Really enjoyed looking out at the views of flowers, trees and wildlife. We saw wild turkeys in the yard. Large dining room with large table, great for us playing board games. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable, with large windows and pretty views from every bedroom. Huge back deck, with a sitting area, picnic table and large hot tub. It also had a large fire pit area with chairs, very relaxing at night. For us it was the perfect location, we went to the cute town of black mountain 10 min away with great shops and restaurants. The river arts district about 15 min away had some wonderful artists and interesting galleries. Downtown Asheville about 15 min away had fun shops and restaurant. Lots of craft breweries nearby. Entrance to the blue ridge parkway is just down the road. Saw some gorgeous waterfalls in the area. We drove over to Maggie valley and Cherokee, which was less than an hour Drive. We felt right at home in the cabin on Mary Jane lane and look forward to coming back and staying again at this lovely cabin.
