Mariposa Ridge

Our girls' weekend was amazing because of this house! We didn’t have time to enjoy all the amazing amenities, unfortunately, but the kitchen was incredible, the bedrooms spacious and comfortable and the view was awesome! Highly recommend!

This property exceeded our expectations! We had three families with 7 kids 5 and under. The house was very spacious and we did not feel on top of each other. Two of my kids enjoyed the bunk room and the few toys and books were a bonus. The yard was amazing. Great for kids to play while enjoying Mountain View. We also had fun in the hot tub and pool with plenty of floats to use. We also had a great time at our nightly bonfires in the fire pit making s’mores and watching the sunset over the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked. Having the black stone grill was awesome! The location was perfect. Less than ten minutes to downtown Black Mountain and the highway. We got to see a mama bear and her two cubs from the balcony. We would book this home again!

It was easy to find and the house was beautiful. It was clean and ready when we went there. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the big island made it easy for my adult kids to hang out and talk while I cooked for them. It was a great relaxing time for us. Plenty of room for the whole family!

A beautiful property that was extremely well-maintained and comfortably furnished. Very clean with a great kitchen. Nice backyard with a beautiful view. We loved the close access to Black Mountain. Would highly recommend it.

It was a great rental! The only thing that needs to be clear is that it is off a dirt road on some pretty steep hills, but not a negative. It was a great house and a fun time.

We had a great stay in Black Mountain. We were tucked away in the mountains, but still felt close enough to town to go out for lunch or dinner. We also had great access to hiking in the area. The home had plenty to do if we just wanted to stay in and rest, cook, and recreate. We especially enjoyed the wrap-around porch, sun room off the master suite, giant soaking tub, and hot tub. This home has all the amenities you could want!

The property has stunning Mountain views. Has a great fire pit with a continued mountain view. Outside furniture along with inside is good quality and newly renovated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home and amazing mountain views! Our family loved the ping pong and foosball tables, as well as the basketball court and hot tub. The surrounding areas are beautiful for hiking and exploring. Excellent home, we’ll be back!

We loved our stay! The home is gorgeous and much larger in person than in the photos! The pool and its accompanying lounge area are perfect for a sunny day or a warm evening. The views from the backyard are truly gorgeous. The home comes fully and beautifully equipped. I’d love to stay here again

This house (and the amenities) was a great find! We have been to the area several times over the past few years and the views never disappoint - this home was NO exception! The views from the master porch and the pool were great! Perfect summer home!

This place was amazing and I highly recommend it! It was a large space and very clean. It had everything we needed, we loved the screened porch, the grill, the pool, the ping pong table. We had such a great time and really enjoyed having a clean space! Everything else was absolutely 5-star and I would go back in a heartbeat.

The house is beautiful, everything that is described and more. The inside area was spotless, the outdoor area could use some cleaning. But that certainly didn't stop my family from enjoying the pool, screened-in porch, and porch swing! Well-equipped kitchen, beautiful serene neighborhood.

We stayed here for the weekend to attend our son’s wedding and could not be more pleased with this house! It was perfect for our family of 9. The house was well-maintained and was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were endless! The view from the pool area was amazing! We loved it here! The house is very comfortable, with beautiful views. We especially loved the hot tub in the evenings under a beautiful starry night and in the mornings with a lovely view. The pool was not open yet but we noticed how beautiful the location is for a family of young kids. The outdoor area was our favorite with all the amenities and the patio sitting area. We kept commenting on the beautiful oak tree next to the house as we saw it in the morning from the porch and then you see all its glory from the hot tub. Lovely location close to Black Mountain. We cooked meals the whole time there in the well-stocked kitchen. Thank you, we will be back!

House and property is beautiful! Backyard was perfect for young children to run around and enjoy the cooler temperatures. Great location to Black Mountain town with shops, breweries, and restaurants. Cute little town and short drive to downtown Asheville. The house was perfect for two families with young children. Spacious and modern/mountain chic decorated. The dishwasher was a bit finicky and would only run sometimes (or we'd have to restart multiple times) but that wasn't too big of a deal since it would eventually work. Overall it was a great trip and we will definitely return in the future!!

The house was exactly as advertised and then some. It was spacious, and clean, and came with everything you could possibly need. The outdoor space was phenomenal. The views couldn't be beaten and everything aspect of the yard (pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor kitchen/eating area) was put together very well and provided our family with lasting memories.

House was great for what we needed. Note: This place is extremely remote and there are no lights outside on the street or in the area and GPS does not work (per their own check in instructions and our experience) so just be very aware if you are arriving at night! The pool is not right by the house or visible from main living area -so for parents this is helpful information . Overall: House was lovely, well stocked and perfect for a family getaway. Beds were comfortable and the kids had fun in the pool and hot tub.

We had a phenomenal trip and enjoyed the beautiful home, pool, hot tub and unforgettable Mountain Views. It was rather convenient to have many of the basic needs met such as paper towels, toilet paper, some dishwasher detergent and a few washing machine pods. These little things are so handy to have in place when getting to the house late and not having time for a grocery run right away.

Had a great weekend getaway at Mariposa. It's just outside of Black Mountain, which was another great find right outside of Asheville. The property was as advertised and exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be back when visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The property is well appointed. Each room has been decorated nicely and is very comfortable. Although the pool was not open, the hot tub and firepit were right on target for a nice relaxing weekend away. Black Mountain was also a nice surprise with the many restaurants and shops close by.

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful mountain home. The house was very clean and well maintained - neighborhood very quiet! With a large family - we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the various amenities - a favorite was the loft for kids to hang out. foosball table and ladder golf! The pool was a highlight too - and especially loved the covered sitting area. You can’t beat the views and sunset. We look forward to bringing our family back soon!

We stayed at Mariposa Ridge for a long weekend and the house is awesome! Furnishings look like they are brand new. Quiet neighborhood, and the sunset is killer. Lots of trails for hiking and biking nearby.
