Lovely Day

We had a nice time staying at this location. It was very close to downtown Black Mountain but felt like you were farther away than you are, which is what we wanted. The house was clean, and comfortable, loved the mattress. It's great for families, friends weekends, or couples.

We recently stayed at Lovely Day managed by Carolina Mornings, and it was a fantastic experience. The house is in a great location in the Black Mountains, only 25 minutes away from Asheville. Our stay was great; the house was very comfortable and clean. The chef's kitchen was a particular highlight, equipped with everything we needed to prepare delicious meals. With a few corrections in maintenance, this is a 5-star property. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay near Asheville.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming Black Mountain, NC home! Everything exceeded my expectations. The house was spotless, and the door keypad made check-in and check-out very convenient. The listing didn't do the home justice—it was even better than described! The well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy, and the property management company kept excellent communication throughout our stay. The location is perfect—close to town yet in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The amenities, including a hot tub, grill, two family sitting areas, and a garage, made our stay very comfortable. I felt at home instantly due to the thoughtful amenities, tasteful decor, and well-designed layout. It's great for families with kids, with one small staircase easily blocked off for safety. I would 100% stay here again and prefer Black Mountain over Asheville. Town amenities were convenient, and hiking trails were accessible from the front door. Highly recommend!

Great location in Black Mountain! Short trip to town. Beautiful secluded home. Well decorated. Very cozy and inviting. Great vibes. Great hot tub. Used our free ticket to the Biltmore, which we greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend it to others.

We had a great time during our stay! The home was fairly easy to find using the GPS and Carolina Mornings were also very communicative with directions and information regarding our booking. The home itself was super cute, we had everything we needed, and would gladly stay again!

This home was beautiful, clean, and spacious it was perfect for the 8 of us and two dogs. The rooms were furnished nicely with contemporary and mid-entry modern style. The kitchen was awesome to cook in and was fully stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes, glassware, and nice appliances like a blender, toaster, coffee maker, and hand mixer. Everything was top-notch. Even had a pan to roast our Thanksgiving turkey. The laundry room is large with storage and perfect for our two large dog crates where our Vizslas slept at night. The hot tub was perfect while cooking for Thanksgiving or after hours of hiking. The house is very close to trails in Montreat and minutes away from cute downtown Black Mountain. We walked our dogs every morning around Lake Tomahawk which was 5 minutes away. Highly recommend this property. No complaints whatsoever. The management company was quick to respond to questions but we did not have any real issues.

This was a great getaway place for our girls' weekend away! The four rooms and bathrooms were as gorgeous as the pictures and the kitchen/dining and living areas made us feel right at home. 10/10 would stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone who's looking for a great and convenient place to stay in Black Mountain!

We loved this house! Perfect for a relaxing girls' weekend. We each had our own comfortable bedroom, the space was great for hanging out and catching up. Beautiful decor, and a close drive into town and a quick drive into Asheville.

The house was very well-appointed overall. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was awesome. The house is a lot nicer than other rentals we've experienced and was very comfortable for the duration of the stay. Black Mountain is a lovely and quiet neighborhood with close proximity to Asheville. Lots of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our visit!

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful mountain getaway! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and provided great recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The property itself was immaculately clean and well-appointed, with beautiful bedrooms, a large great room, an open kitchen, and a deck with hot tub that overlooked gorgeous forest views. The location was perfect, close to everything Black Mountain, Asheville, and the Smoky Mountain National Park has to offer. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay. Five stars!

My family and I stayed here when we all gathered in Black Mountain for a baby shower, and the accommodations could not have been better. There are lots of spaces to gather, including an open kitchen dining living room area; a deck off the dining area with a large hot tub and an awesome expandable table we were all able to sit around; and a TV room with big comfy couches that was the favored area for the kids in our group. The whole place has a beautiful modern aesthetic. Each bedroom has its own unique design and all the beds are extremely comfortable. And the bathroom in the main suite bedroom is exceptional with a large two person walk-in shower and a futuristic toilet that everyone in our group had to try out. It definitely lived up to the promise of it’s name, a "Lovely Day", which is what we had our entire stay.

My family and I loved this property. The surroundings are beautiful, quiet, and calm yet an easy drive into Black Mountain and Asheville. As an added bonus the toilets are all equipped with bidets, reminded me of Japan! My kids loved it.

We needed a quiet spot to forget about work, and relax for a few days - this absolutely fit the bill. The deck was a great place to enjoy our morning coffee, and embrace the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfy, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after hiking and fishing in the beautiful mountains. The short drive to Asheville is surrounded by trees and mountain scenery, and there are great fishing and hiking spots all around. Will definitely be going back!
