Bici Della Nonna

The property was exactly what I was looking for! It’s a beautiful mountain retreat. The views from the deck are stunning! I did a lot of research and this house was perfect and very reasonably priced as well. We only had 4 in our group, but there is plenty of room for more. There are 2 living areas, one in the basement with lots of games along with ping pong and foosball tables. The kitchen had everything we needed, we only had to buy salt. The beds are very comfortable with great pillows! My husband is very picky about his pillows and he was very happy with them, which never happens when we travel. There are upper and lower decks with amazing views and lots of comfortable seating. The property is amazing and I would stay there again! The booking process, communication with property management, directions to the property, and recommendations for food and shopping near the house were perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

This property was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. Very spacious and clean. We loved that there were doors to the porch from each bedroom. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed plus some. The view is so lovely, we spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch. We're already talking about renting again for our next North Carolina getaway! Some small FYIs that did not detract from our stay but may be helpful for future guests. The beds are quite firm if that's not what you're used to. The driveway is a bit steep and all gravel, and the parking area is small but fits our four vehicles. It was a challenge backing out but doable. Absolutely nothing about these things would keep us from visiting again!

We booked to celebrate my 69th birthday and took a couple of the guards with us. We loved the home, the view, all of the extras with the property ( swimming, hiking, pickleball) games, and movies at night…a delightful stay!

The house is two minutes by car from the Bald and the Appalachian Trail. Fabulous hiking in all directions. For dog owners, the house sits on a private road for easy walks. Many tame deer are nearby, so listen for their soft huffing to avoid encounters. All the essentials for a comfortable stay, but no clutter. Great AC unit. Easy parking and unloading. Huge fridge, nice stove, huge entertainment screen with multiple selections. Great internet. Fabulous view, day and night. Lots of windows in every room. Very quiet.

The backyard and 2-level wrap-around decks have plentiful space and perfect positioning for my family to enjoy the view of the gorgeous mountains! The property was very clean indoor and outdoor. Everything in the cabin home worked and functioned as intended. My family and I enjoyed our stay, and we hope to return!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The view and location were spectacular. The house was well maintained, clean, private, spacious yet cozy. Also, two trails in this gated community are great to hike, which you would otherwise not have access to. Highly recommend the Big Bald trail for a 360° view at 5500’ of the entire area! Can’t wait to stay here again!

The house and the views exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect setting to bring in the new year with our grown children. The living/dining area combo was the perfect space for our party of 8.25 (3 months old) plus the doodles to gather around the stone fireplace or play games at the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked and provided beautiful views…let’s talk about the incredible views from every room on the main floor with floor-to-ceiling windows and door access to the expansive deck that runs the entire length of the house with 180-degree Mountain views! Watch incredible sunrises from every room especially while lying in bed. Great areas to walk or hike trails from the neighborhood. The icing on the cake was the unexpected snowfall but you need an all-wheel drive if parked at the bottom of the driveway. We luckily parked one car at the top of the driveway and another at the lot near the entry gate. The Mountain Discovery Pass was a bonus! We would return to Bici della Nonna!

This is a great place to stay when you want to get away and enjoy the mountains. The property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. It's in a secure community with nice amenities and just a short drive from Asheville. Would definitely stay here again.

"Let me start by saying the views are amazing. The house was very nice and clean, and the door was easy to enter with the code. There was twice that I had to call your line to ask for help and both times they were very knowledgeable. The directions were spot on! We came here to celebrate my children's birthdays, 22 & 24. Had a fun day skiing. My daughter in law would not ski because she is 10 weeks pregnant! Super excited! I am sitting here with a fire going, a drink in my hand and enjoying my children and their spouses having fun playing board games! Thank you for this special visit!"
