Located atop Bearwallow Mountain between Asheville and Hendersonville, the Grand Highlands community is a half-hour drive away from numerous stores and restaurants along Highway 25 in Fletcher. From there, enjoy easy access to the Asheville Regional Airport, Biltmore Park Town Square, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Interstate 26 leading to Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. Hendersonville with its strong tradition of quality art galleries and dining establishments is also an approximately 30 minute drive. For a sightseeing adventure, take a short trip to the Bearwallow Mountain Trail, a family-friendly hike to the open bald at the top where you'll find amazing views. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Hendersonville and is approximately 43 minutes from downtown Asheville, 3,465ft above sea level.

• Neighborhood Clubhouse and Seasonal Gas Fireplace
Please note the neighborhood clubhouse is not available for guests staying at Bearwallow Retreat. Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
• Note that GPS is incorrect for this address and will take you to the wrong location. Please read over (and print!) our written directions before departing on your trip and let us know if you have any questions.
• Noise Ordinance and Construction Noise
Bearwallow Retreat is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very low noise tolerance. The home is under a noise ordinance between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Please note that construction is underway in this community. Construction noise should be expected during working hours until the building is complete.
• 4WD/AWD Required in Winter: During the winter months (Nov. 1st - Mar 31st) and inclement weather, a 4WD/AWD vehicle is required to access this property. Please ensure your vehicle has sufficient clearance (i.e. SUV, Truck, or raised sedan). Low-clearance vehicles with 4WD/AWD are not recommended.
• Street Parking Prohibited. Please note that parking in the road is strictly prohibited in this community, and violators may be towed without warning. There is a maximum of 3 cars allowed at the home. Thank you in advance for adhering to this important community regulation.

Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking.
