This is a beautiful home. The guest house was a huge bonus for us as well. Everyone in our group loved the stay and the host was super helpful with our requests. We will stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience at Bear Hug Retreat. The accommodations were superb. It was very cozy and spacious. The home was private with amazing views. It was also a great location- very close to local vineyards and about 30 minutes to downtown Asheville. I’d highly recommend this home if you’re looking in the Hendersonville area.

We liked the layout, especially the extra private room provided in the cub house. The covered back porch was a nice gathering space as well.

What a beautiful cabin! We checked in after Blue Ridge Relay and it was so nice to come into a beautiful clean home. It’s also designed so nice and it just feels so welcoming!

This upscale, thoughtfully decorated home was more than I could have asked for, tucked into the mountain with lots of privacy. Spacious living area & a kitchen equipped with everything you need for a nice meal whether in the dining room or outside at the picnic table amongst trees. Plenty of spaces inside & outside to unwind and relax. The beds were very comfortable for a great night sleep. The house was in a great location, felt secluded but close to restaurants, grocery stores, breweries and outdoor adventures. It felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful and peaceful home in the middle of the woods. Unique vegetation and trees. Spots within the property to spend a long time meditating and enjoying a peaceful time with the family and our furry friends. Full of amenities to make the stay easygoing. Communication with the host is easy and fast responding, very helpful, and provides fast solutions to our inquiries. Any time we plan a new trip to the woods, we will primarily choose Carolina Mornings’ property.

We stayed at Bear Hug Retreat for a girls trip. This luxurious home is nestled back on a secluded lot that backs up to trees. It is meticulously decorated. The beds and linens are very comfortable. This home has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to stay in and cook. There is a large porch just off the kitchen which has a gas grill and outdoor tables if you want to eat outside. There are also rocking chairs to relax in. We enjoyed drinking our coffee during the cool mornings on the back porch. This porch has cute lighting and over looks the fire pit and hot tub! Perfect for cool evenings! There is also a separate guest house. Great if you are traveling with another family! The location is perfect! Less than 30 minutes from the Asheville airport. Our host was super responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting this property again! It was perfect for our group!

The house was exactly as described. It was a little more remote than described. We had to travel on a one-lane dirt road for about a 1/2 mile up to reach it. We were actually planning to work remotely from this location and unfortunately, the wifi did not support that for us.

we had a few days to escape and chose this spot , super cool access to fun while hidden away enough to relax . had amazing weather and the home is first class , highly recommend

We stayed here with friends for a long weekend and it was perfect! Close to the Airport, Downtown and there are plenty of great breweries and food was amazing. We loved the use of the hot tub after a long day out. Fits 10 comfortably and that extra MIL suite was great for privacy. Kitchen amenities were perfect and we used the grill with friends and enjoyed many meals in as well. Can’t wait to go back!

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and besides the epic weather, I can’t say enough about this property. From the cool nights sitting on the rockers, to the fire pit gatherings in the evening, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in NC. It was a beautiful drive up to the property and anything you need is close by, whether it’s grocery stores or places like Lowes and Home Depot. And the downtown Hendersonville area is so quaint and offers all the amenities of a downtown like breweries and great restaurants. I am not sure if there could have been anything else to make this trip any better but I would recommend this property to anyone heading to the Hendersonville area, it was A+ accommodations with A+ amenities, can not wait to stay here again!
