Dreams Come True at Hobbit House

Enchantment and magic await you at Hobbit House. This 850 square foot, three-story, mini-castle is truly a dream come true. Set at 4,000 feet, Hobbit House is a crown jewel that is deep in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. An escape from reality, it is away from it all yet it is conveniently only 27 minutes from downtown Asheville and a few short minutes from Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. Pack your bags and bring the family including your four-legged prince or princess as this property is pet-friendly.

Upon arriving at Hobbit House, the impressive castle tower beckons you in. Enter through the front door and head down the stairs on the right to enter the lower-level living room and kitchen. The living room space has a flat-screen TV over the stone fireplace and the kitchen has lovely stainless-steel appliances. French doors open up to the patio with amazing mountain views, a gas grill, a fire pit and a fantastic hot tub.

From the front door of the castle, a full bathroom is to the left and the main bedroom is before you. While it is fit for both queens and kings it boasts a queen-bed and as a private half-bath. The bedroom opens up to a private balcony, too. Imagine sitting on the balcony late into the evening with a glass of fine wine and a loved one watching the night sky and wishing upon falling stars.

The loft area is a delight for your little princes and princesses. Either up the indoor ladder or up the outside stairs- arriving to the bedroom at the top of the tower is a regal adventure. Once they enter their domain, a great custom wood-carved bunk bed with a full bed and a twin bed is comfy and inviting. Royal games can be had on the Foosball table and the dartboard.

This castle is truly something unique and wonderful. The magical outdoors at Hobbit House are equally fit for nobility. Amazing mountain views, glistening sunshine, and twinkling stars in the night make every moment you spend outdoors a special one. The patio off the lower level has a fantastic large gas grill for making dinner for your royal family. Your evenings can be spent around the fire pit roasting marshmallows or soaking in the hot tub. The deck off of the bedroom is a wonderful spot for you and your king (or queen) to enjoy the sunrise and morning coffee. The upper deck off of the top floor is an ideal spot to sit and relax with the majesty of a good book or simply to enjoy the wonderful, fresh air.
