Location Details
The Scenic Wolf community has numerous regional outdoor adventures such as whitewater rafting, horseback riding, ziplining, fishing, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail are all within an hour's drive. For convenience, extra parking is available at the top of the mountain. Fall foliage season welcomes vivid colors and perfect weather. Experience true mountaintop tranquility at Scenic Wolf! The Scenic Wolf cabin community is located at 24 Summit Way, Mars Hill, NC 28754, and is approximately 27 miles from the heart of downtown Asheville, 4,259ft above sea level.

Important Property Notes
• Due to a steep, winding paved road leading to the Scenic Wolf cabins, use of a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during the winter months.
• Each cabin at Scenic Wolf is large and multi-leveled with upper and lower decks located over steep drop-offs (providing the wonderful views!). If stairs or a fear of heights are a concern for anyone in your party, please ask a Vacation Planner about your cabin's specific layout to ensure the comfort of all guests!
• A clear cell signal at Scenic Wolf can be hit-or-miss. Each cabin has a landline phone and free wireless Internet to keep you connected.
• Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
• Travel Insurance Recommended. Due to the location of this home, any inclement weather in winter may render it unreachable. We highly recommend guests consider travelers insurance for this property as there are no refunds for weather.
• Ski Resort Changes. Please note, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort has been sold, and rebranded to Hatley's Point by new ownership. The resort is currently under renovations, and expected to open at a later date to be determined.

"It is a beautiful location. Best place on earth for peace, quiet and deep relaxation. It was our first cabin experience and we can only dream of coming back. Very very luxurious. Make sure you have all the food you need. Plan to be trapped because there is nothing to do but chill at the cabin. Don't think going and coming is a piece of cake because it's not. We also visited the Biltmore estate, chimney rock, and lake lure. Had a nice dinner at sunset terrace at the omni groove park hotel. Enjoyed dessert at the French board chocolate lounge in downtown Asheville. All very very popular places. It was simply amazing. My husband had to work the livingroom tv for me and that was the only flaw with the place. Water pressure is also pretty low but gets it's hot as crap so no worries. The place is ridiculously clean lol "

loved this house. there was lots of room for our group of 8. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed for cooking our feast. We had trouble getting the fireplace lit the first night but 30 minutes after reporting the problem we had a maintenance person at the house. Would recommend this house.

"Residing here at Carolina Mornings has been a wonderful experience. Our 20th family reunion here and I must stay, it was an excellent decision. Family traveled in from as close as Charlotte and Raleigh, NC to as far as Laurel, MD Denver, CO, Shreveport, LA and even Korea (US Army soldier). We had an amazing time fellowshipping with family in your beautiful and spacious cabins. We rented three of your cabins which accommodated about 7 family households. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the complimentary daily activities because of the distance of the activities. We did, however, take advantage of visiting the Biltmore Estate which was a wonderful and enlightening experience. Thank you for providing a comfortable and well equipped cabin during our vacation. We hope to visit again in the future. "

"Celebrated Christmas at the Skylands Cabin with family coming from MI. We loved getting to spend the holiday with our children too. Cozy fires, lovely hot tub, amazing mountain views and starry nights. We didn't leave the cabin for the entire 5 nights we stayed and spent wonderful down time reading, cooking, and drinking while playing endless board games!! We will be back with friends next year. Happy 2014 holidays! "
