Description Description
Let Into the Trees transport you to an elegant realm of relaxation at 4,450 feet! You know you've arrived somewhere special when you reach the pristine and celebrated Laurel Ridge Golf Course at the base of the mountain just past Waynesville, NC. After a breathtaking climb to the skies up an all-paved road, the first thing you notice about this gorgeous contemporary retreat is, of course, the trees. With windows in every room looking out over the mature mountaintop woods, Into the Trees boasts a stunning custom architectural design that invites you to live in harmony with nature. While it's tempting to describe it as a "treehouse," there's nothing small or rustic about this home. A spacious, one-level floor plan, sumptuous decor, and a large covered deck create a sanctuary worthy of hosting your dream vacation. The central great room features an impressive peaked wooden ceiling, a massive stone, wood-burning fireplace, and a dining table fit for royalty. If food and feasting are central to your family's activities, Into the Trees offers the opportunity to really put on a show. Fire up the gas grill and enjoy the outdoor dining area on the covered deck, which stays comfortably shaded all day thanks to the tree growing up through it! Have a seat and stay a while - this is the perfect place to kick back in any weather, in any season, and take in the picturesque peek-a-boo views. As a bonus, the three-car garage is available for recreational activities such as working out or playing a game of ping pong. Into the Trees is a beautiful house sitting way up on a mountaintop.
Into the Trees is a beautiful house sitting way up on a mountaintop. The house is large, I would say perfect for up to two large families. We arrived at a very clean, well-furnished house. Large beautiful deck overlooking the valley. We were even lucky enough to see a mother bear with her two young cubs traveling through the woods below the deck.

The home was designed well and classy and cozy yet spacious.
Great place to stay! We wanted to ski and it was convenient to the Maggie Valley / Ski area: wonderful elevation and very nice homes along the way to the top and on the top. The home was designed well and classy and cozy yet spacious .. a great split floor plan with an open kitchen and living area. I would love to spend more time on the decks next time with warmer weather.. when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised it was only snowing lightly up top where the house is and above …started just before the main entry and at that 4500-elevation. It is a nice area and I like the retro Maggie Valley shops and we also enjoyed Asheville too. But mainly skiing while there. Great place.

This property is just beautiful. The rooms and accommodations are very spacious. All the supplies i.e. linens, kitchen supplies, etc. are top-notch, no cheap stuff here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful space and area.
We had a wonderful stay, in a beautiful space and area. The online photos do not show this home accurately. We were very impressed upon arrival. Minimal cleanliness issues, maybe not be worth noting. The space offers everything that one requires, nothing more and nothing less. The kitchen is perfect for cooking, the bathroom water pressure was perfect for sore muscles, and everything was convenient. The drive up may not be for the faint of heart, but once you adjust it can be a fun experience. It is a lovely home. Thank you!

Gorgeous home!
Gorgeous home! Spent a lovely week with my family hanging out doing puzzles, playing dominoes, cooking, and even venturing to the tennis court out back to play basketball. The views are amazing even on cloudy days. Thank you for an amazing place for our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay.

Loved the Kitchen!
The beds were all comfortable. The master bathroom’s shower has great water pressure and set at a wonderful temp for sore muscles. The kitchen was very nice to work in and the grill on the back deck complimented the abilities of the kitchen. Everything the kitchen offered was just enough to meet our needs. The kitchen is wonderful space to work in. It’s also a pleasant space to feed family and friends without them getting in the way.

Being a part of the trees, so high, gives us a glimpse of what God sees
A bit of heaven, above the clouds, in the trees! My sex and three-year-old grandsons think this is a big tree house. We all loved the beautiful sunsets and sunrises! We are blessed to be a part of this mountain-tip creation of God. Being a part of the trees, so high, gives us a glimpse of what God sees

Great Views for March.
Beautiful location! The view was unobstructed and beautiful this time of year. Driveway is steep but manageable. Cabin was clean, stocked and well maintained. We saw some great sites while staying here. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Place to Vacation
We loved our stay here at this lovely home! Some days we chose to stay in and enjoy the beautiful views and cook delicious meals on the grill. On these relaxing days, we played some Phase 10, put together puzzles, and explored the gorgeous home and grounds. We played ping-pong and enjoyed streaming some movies. Some of the things locally including the Winchester Creek Farm tour, exploring the Biltmore, and downtown Asheville. We made smores. Overall this was a great place to vacation.

Loved it
The Into the Trees location was a beautiful stay, we spent most of our time exploring Asheville. When we were at the house, we spent all of the time indoors making all of our meals and enjoying the space. We saw wild turkeys, a bear cub. The drive up to the home was beautiful too. The host left us a small welcoming gift which was nice too! (Hidden by Airbnb) maps got us to the house great, maybe 100ft past the driveway. We had great reception in the home (AT&T). We had the directions printed just in case with check-in/check-out instructions as well. The house has all of the equipment and amenities you would need to comfortably host your family or a group of people. The kids and I did not want to leave, we felt very at home and happy here. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Can't Beat The Views
This house had everything! It was such an amazing stay for our family of six! You can’t beat the views from the window seat and porch! It really felt like a home away from home, so cozy! Checking in with the company was super easy and we had no issues during our stay.

Snow days
It is a very comfortable property with enough space and a great view. No complaints and easy to find it. The only issue is if there is snow...the driveway to enter or exit is very steep with a 90-degree turn at the end of the slop. If you have ice or snow on it, it will get dangerous. We enjoyed the snow, had to stay an extra day but it was all worth it.

Thank you for sharing your magnificent home our first post covid vacation and happy reunions with our in the Faneuil and partner who resides in Atlanta. A happy halfway point from our home in Roanoke Virginia okay we admit it. The North Carolina mountain ridges are more traumatic than ours in the Shenandoah Valley

"Wow! So clean, beautiful & serene. Such an amazing getaway. Love the views and hikes - except for the Driveway!! The kitchen is so well equipped and bedding incredibly comfortable. A definite return trip is planned. Surrounding cities are very quaint and 'earth friendly'. ""Into the Trees"" is forever ""into my Psyche"" "

"This property was even better than the pictures depicted. Despite the three bedrooms, it is very spacious! The decor is cozy. Everything was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We received a thoughtful welcome gift as well! It definitely felt more like a well-loved and looked after home than a rental property. We are already making plans to return. "
