There are a ton of things to do when you stay at The Peaceful Fox! In the wintertime, venture to Cataloochee Ski Area for cold-weather recreation just 10 miles away, and enjoy Maggie Valley Club Resort all year long, where you can play 18 holes on the mountain-style championship golf course. The home is located between Waynesville and Maggie Valley, a Smoky Mountain destination town that's home to plenty of dining and shopping options. With Cherokee only a half-hour away, you can spend a day exploring Native American culture or spend an evening catching a show at Harrah's Casino Resort. Get outdoors and take a journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway (access just down the road) to discover mountain hiking trails and spectacular waterfalls, and also walk the trail at Lake Junaluska (also just down the road). The ride to Asheville is smooth sailing with easy, year-round highway access. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Waynesville and is approximately 41 minutes from downtown Asheville.

• Noise Ordinance
The Peaceful Fox is located in a quiet neighborhood and has a very low noise tolerance. The home is under a noise ordinance between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. It is not suitable for groups that are looking for late nights of celebration on the deck. • Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.

Property Cancellation Policy
Please note that this property’s Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking. Cancellations are permitted outside of this period, per our vacation rental agreement. We encourage you to consider travel insurance to help protect your vacation investment against the unknown!
