The stay was very nice.
The stay was very nice. The road to get up to the property was a bit rough. Don't take a car up that sits low to the ground. The place was spacious and comfortable. The back porch was very relaxing.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a location that has some close amenities.
Clean and tidy home. The host was quick to respond and very helpful. Great place to stay if you are looking for a location that has some close amenities but gets you out of a big city environment. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was exceptional.
The house was exceptional. We saw 2 adult turkeys and 4 baby turkeys. We also saw 4 deer on the property. Both porches were awesome to sit at. Loved the swings on the bottom level.

We had a wonderful stay in Mars Hill.
We had a wonderful stay in Mars Hill. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven. Mars Hill Hideaway was clean, nicely furnished as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We loved the outdoor fire pit, gas fireplace, and the sunset views from both porches. This was our first visit to Asheville. Mars Hill is central to so much… Marshall, Hot Springs, and Weaverville. We can’t wait to return!

Don’t hesitate to book if you want a nice, calm, and quiet place to hang out!
Fantastic AirBnB! Beautiful location! The cabin still looks and feels new. The gas fireplace warms nicely and the outdoor fireplace is such a bonus. The beds are comfy, the towels and linens are high quality, and the location is great (easy access to Mars Hill, Weaverville, and Asheville). We stayed here for 2 weeks and didn’t have a problem with anything! Don’t hesitate to book if you want a nice, calm, quiet place to hang out after a fun day in the area. Highly recommend!

We had a great time here at Mars Hill Hideaway.
We had a great time here at Mars Hill Hideaway. It is a beautiful and peaceful place. It snowed a little while we were here. We visited a few sights, Chimney Rock and the winter lights. Spent some time in Asheville. We made some wonderful memories.

We loved our stay at Mars Hill Hideaway!
We loved our stay at Mars Hill Hideaway! We are from a small town just north of Gainesville, FL. My husband arranged this trip for our 29th Anniversary. Everything was perfect! Beautiful view, was extremely clean, and was incredibly organized with everything we needed. We toured the Biltmore, did wine tasting, and shopped in Asheville. Brunch at Tupelo Honey and dinner at Red Stag. Truly enjoyed this trip!

Perfect property!!
Myself and my Florida born adult children escaped life for a few days and spent it at the Mars Hill hideaway in North Carolina. The higher the hills got, the more excited they became as we drove northwest. We were fortunate to find this home to stay in. It’s beautifully furnished, well appointed and the location could not be better. The town of Mars Hill is quaint with a lot of great non-chain food options. The Ingles is quite fancy! We were able to drive up the gravel driveway with a four-cylinder sedan with no problems (after a little practice). It was nice to be able to have a room (and a comfy bed!)for each of us yet paying less than we would at a hotel where we would share one room and two small beds. Not sure the 20 and 23 year old boys would have enjoyed that. Our stay was too short but we were able to take advantage of the white water rafting discount available through the rental agency. We are looking forward to our next trip up so we can enjoy more of what North Carolina has to offer!!

We had a great stay at this property.
We had a great stay at this property. You could tell it was brand new and everything was clean and in great shape. We saw deer in the morning and evenings as we enjoyed the balconies and outdoor fire pit area. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for something relatively close to Asheville. The property management was very responsive and friendly, and the directions and check-in instructions were simple and accurate. We had a great stay!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
I very much enjoyed my stay at this lovely new home just north of Asheville. The screened in, very large deck off the kitchen/dining area, is wonderful for relaxing, having snacks/drinks or a full meal and enjoy the sunset out in nature. Perfect size bedrooms with very comfy beds, linens and plenty of pillows. Fun at the local theatre in Mars Hill where you can taste local brewed beer and have sandwiches and more along with fun trivia competition on a Thursday evening. Very close to Mars Hill University or UNC Asheville for Saturday football excursions. If you’re looking to wind down and enjoy peace and quiet Mars Hill Hideaway is the place!

Perfect peaceful retreat
Perfect location!! Close to everything, but secluded so we could hear the roosters, wild turkeys and cows every morning while we had coffee on the screened in upstairs porch. Four minutes to Mars Hill and some great local restaurants and Ingles Shopping. Downstairs porch is great for yoga or to relax in the hammock chairs. Great place for a family or couple looking to get away. Fireplace was cozy on the cold nights.
