Completed in 1895, George Vanderbilt's 250-room chateau is as impressive today as it was more than a century ago. The Biltmore Estate is truly an architectural and historical wonder.

Trampoline Ticket

French Broad Climbing Wall

Located in Marshall, the French Broad Climbing Wall is 30' tall and has multiple climbing routes and features for a variety of ages and ability level from first-timers to expert climber. The climbing wall has two Perfect Descent automatic belay devices so that you can climb with confidence.

French Broad Adventures - Rafting Ticket

Experience the exciting adventure of whitewater rapids and enjoy the natural beauty of Pisgah National Forest! French Broad Adventures and their team of professional and experienced river staff who guarantee that you get much more out of your trip than just simply making it down the river. You will learn the names of the rapids, the history of the river, basic paddling techniques, and river safety information all while having the time of your life

• The last name on the amenity email must match the last name on the ID.

• Complimentary amenity reservations can only be redeemed by an adult (18 years or older).

• Guest receives one complimentary admission, per service, per unit reservation, per paid night stay.

• All reservations booked by guest directly with the service provider will be charged to guest.

• All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.

• Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

• Amenities are noncumulative and nontransferable and are valid for daily and weekly stays only.

• Unused admissions expire daily.

• Amenities are available on the day of check-in and for each paid night plus day of departure, but are unavailable on complimentary days.

• Services are subject to weather, maintenance, and availability and therefore are not guaranteed.

• Service Providers reserve the right to hold up to 30 days a year for private events.

• Service Providers are subject to change without notice.

Not all properties participate in the Mountain Discovery Pass program. Any properties excluded will have a note in the property description under "Important Property Notes" disclosing that. If there is no note under "Important Property Notes" then that property will include the Mountain Discovery Pass!Please note: Use of and access to the Mountain Discovery Pass is limited to guests of properties under a management contract with Carolina Mornings at the time of check-in. Guests of properties not under a management contract with Carolina Mornings will not have access to the Mountain Discovery Pass, and Carolina Mornings is not liable for such services in the event the property is transferred, or not under our management at the time of arrival.

Can I use my passes on the day that I check out?

Staying Local

We’re staying for 4 days, can we all get our included tickets in one day?

The included tickets are non-cumulative and unused tickets expire daily. In other words, one person can go every single day (including the day of check-out), but you cannot use all of the tickets in one day.

While we understand that in most cases your group will all want to attend together, we do hope that you find the value of the one-pass ticket to be beneficial! Additionally, the more activities you attend during your stay, the larger your savings will be!

Why can’t I go river rafting in October?

Most of the activities involved in our Mountain Discovery Pass are seasonal and are limited in availability by our partner companies at their request. Weather plays a large role in river rafting, as you can imagine, and we cannot expect that rafting will be available any time after Sept 30th.

The Biltmore Estate is open all year round, however, with seasonal activities in constant rotation!

I’m coming in November and the only seasonally available activity is the Biltmore, can I have extra tickets to make up for the rafting that aren’t available?

Our partner companies provide us with the included tickets that we offer to you. We are unable to offer additional tickets to any one activity. The Biltmore Estate is positively beautiful in November - we might suggest that you spend extra time exploring the grounds and restaurants!

We don’t want to use our MDP, can we have money off of our reservation?

The Mountain Discovery Pass is a gift given at no cost to you! It is our way of introducing you to the beauty of our amazing area, and our partner company’s way to introduce your group to their local attractions. We cannot give a discount on your reservation, but the pass will still be available for you to use in case you change your plans!

I have 8 people in my party so I need more than one pass for these activities.

The MDP is a gift that we give to our guests to help offset the cost of some of our area’s best activities, and is our partner company’s way to introduce your group to their local attractions. We are only able to provide one pass per activity. Additional tickets are available for purchase, so please inquire!

Can I use my passes on the day that I check out?

Yes! The Mountain Discovery Pass is available for guests from the day of their arrival until and including the day of departure. Feel free to get last minute experiences in as you head out from our wonderful Western North Carolina region!
